3 shot in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Police are investigating a shooting that injured three people in Cleveland Saturday morning.

Cleveland police officials confirmed the shooting occurred in the 1100 block of E. 123rd Street, in the city’s Glenville neighborhood at around 8 a.m.

Cleveland Police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia confirmed that two women, one with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and the other with gunshot wounds to the ankle, were transported to University Hospitals by EMS.

Sgt. Ciaccia also said a third man arrived by private transportation with a gunshot wound to the side.

Neighbors in the area tell 19 News that the man who was shot was actually trying to open the business for the day when he was shot, along with two women.

Their current conditions are unknown.

Officials confirmed the shooting remains under investigation
