CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cuyahoga County is hoping to fight the nationwide development of declining police officer charges as a $2M grant from the state was simply awarded. That grant is for use for group wellness, recruitment, retention efforts, coaching and crime prevention.

The full quantities in grants are damaged up in $190,000, $1.5M, and $163,000.

The most important quantity is for use for recruitment and officer retention, one thing Cuyahoga County hopes will encourage extra candidates by providing fairer wages, improved companies, and the prospect for progress.
