Touching down on American soil has been a weeks-long ordeal, starting with a tough pilgrimage to Poland from a war-rocked Ukraine.

Her 78-year-old mother and father left reluctantly as Kyiv was the one residence they’d ever identified.

“It has been difficult, however we’re right here,” Dunn stated.

“My mom was born in Kyiv, she dwell all her life in Ukraine,” stated Dunn’s sister, Natasha Stevens. “And sadly, they needed to decide up. They did not take something, simply paperwork and two canines.”

“Very completely satisfied, very glad,” Dunn stated.
