McHenry County Sheriff’s police shoot man in Harvard during well-being check, officials say

HARVARD, In poor health. (WLS) — McHenry County Sheriff’s deputies critically wounded a person in a taking pictures Friday night time in Harvard, officers mentioned.

At about 8 p.m., deputies have been referred to as to the 19900 block of Streit Street for a well-being verify, in response to a sheriff’s assertion.

Upon arrival, a person walked out of the house with a firearm, police mentioned.

Deputies fired their gun throughout a confrontation with the person, hanging him, the assertion mentioned.

He was transported to Mercy Harvard Hospital and later flown to Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford the place he stays in essential situation, police mentioned.
