Massive 5-alarm California fire destroys Home Depot; shelter-in-place issued for some residents

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Firefighters in California have absolutely contained a 5-alarm hearth that tore by means of a House Depot in south San Jose Saturday night.

The fireplace was first reported at round 5:00 p.m. on the retailer.

No accidents had been reported to fireside personnel or residents from the incident, in line with San Jose Hearth Division.

A pet hospital close to the realm had been evacuated with dozens of pets transported.

As for the reason for the fire- officers say it is doubtless a great distance out from realizing.

“The House Depot is just about a complete loss, the roof is just about collapsed from all the construction so it may take a while to get in there if we even can- if it may be secure for our individuals to get in there,” mentioned SJPD battalion chief Brad Cloutier.
