Chicago crime: Teen charged after allegedly bringing gun onto CTA train, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — A teen has been charged after he allegedly introduced a gun onto a CTA practice on Thursday night time, Chicago police stated.

The 17-year-old boy was standing inside a restricted space of a CTA practice automobile, carrying what gave the impression to be a gun in his waistband at about 8:34 p.m. within the Close to North Aspect’s 800 block of North State Avenue, police stated.

Officers approached the teenager and arrested him as he tried to flee, police stated. Police recovered a weapon.

The teenager has been charged with felony aggravated illegal use of a weapon, amongst different prices, police stated.
