Celebrating National Beer Day with District Brew Yards
CHICAGO (WLS) — Thursday is Nationwide Beer Day!
Chicago has loads of breweries and you’ll find a number of beneath one roof at District Brew Yards.
Dan Schedler is the founder and brewer of Across the Bend, one of many breweries there.
He joined us with some suggestions for spring beers.
- Fashionably Late Italian Pilsner: nice for patio consuming
- Strawberry Pie a la Mode: it is a lightly-soured beer with strawberry taste
- Tilly Mango and Papaya Hefewizen: a twist on the basic Hefeweizen
- Piñata: a Pineapple IPA
