Amtrak cancellations affecting several Chicago routes as strike looms; Metra could be affected

CHICAGO (WLS) — The specter of a serious rail strike is affecting journey plans for lots of people in Chicago Tuesday morning, and it may have an effect on Metra service, as properly.

Amtrak has preemptively canceled journeys on a number of routes that undergo the town.
