Mullins, Nielsen to continue leading Lorain Port and Finance Authority Board
The Lorain Port and Finance Authority will continue with consistent leadership, according to a news release.
Brad Mullins will continue to serve as chair of the Lorain Port and Finance Authority Board of Directors, and Carl Nielsen will remain vice chair, the release said.
Every April, a chair and vice chair for the Board of Directors are elected, according to the release.
At the Board of Directors regular meeting April 9, members unanimously voted to retain Mullins and Nielsen.
Mullins has served on the Board of Directors for 13 years; Nielsen has served for 18 years.
Over their tenures, both men have served in the capacity of chair and vice chair, as well as chairs of committees.
“Consistent leadership is such a necessary part of the functional operation of this agency,” said Tom Brown, executive director of the Lorain Port and Finance Authority Board. “We are so lucky for the time and attention that Brad and Carl offer to this agency.”
Their leadership term commences immediately and is for one year.
