PRAGUE, Sept 9 (Reuters) – European Union finance ministers on Friday backed a 5 billion euro ($5 billion) mortgage for Ukraine to assist its preserve colleges, hospitals and different state operations working because it fights towards Russia’s invasion, the Czech finance ministry stated.

The mortgage, to be backed by ensures of EU member states, is a part of an total 9 billion euro package deal introduced in Could. The primary 1 billion euros was absolutely despatched in early August.
