Nearly eight months after asserting his departure from his longtime label High Dawg Leisure, the Pulitzer-Prize successful artist revealed his subsequent album, known as “Mr. Morale & The Large Steppers,” shall be launched on Might 13.

Lamar saved the announcement imprecise — initially sharing the information on Twitter in response to a tweet studying “Kendrick Lamar is formally retired.”
In August, Lamar introduced his plans to go away TDE, below which all of his earlier albums have been launched. This shall be his final album below the label, he stated on the time.

“As I produce my remaining TDE album, I really feel pleasure to have been part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most significantly, the Brotherhood. Might the Most Excessive proceed to make use of High Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I proceed to pursue my life’s calling,” he wrote.

Lamar’s final album was 2017’s “DAMN,” a vastly profitable album that went triple platinum and acquired a Pulitzer Prize — the primary rap album to win the coveted award.
