A beforehand little identified reality about Julia Roberts is now extra broadly identified, due to social media.
It began lately when a Twitter user shared a compilation video of Roberts, writing “Martin Luther King Jr. paying for her delivery remains to be a bit identified undeniable fact that sends me.”
Just a few days later, in honor of Roberts’ fifty fifth birthday on October 28, consultant Zara Rahim tweeted a clip of Roberts sharing the story about her birth with journalist Gayle King (no relation to Dr. King).
Roberts defined that Dr. King and his spouse, Coretta Scott King, took care of the hospital bills since her dad and mom couldn’t pay the invoice.
“My dad and mom had a theater faculty in Atlanta known as the Actors and Writers’ Workshop,” Roberts stated. “And at some point Coretta Scott King known as my mom and requested if her youngsters may very well be a part of the varsity as a result of they have been having a tough time discovering a spot that may settle for her youngsters.”
Roberts’ mom stated certain and thus started the friendship between the civil rights leaders and Walter and Betty Lou Roberts.
That led to the Kings paying for the delivery of the girl who would go on to grow to be a global star.
“They helped us out of a jam,” Julia Roberts stated.
