Gottfried’s demise on the age of 67 was introduced by his household earlier this week.
Rizzo paid tribute to him on social media, writing “Bob cherished Gilbert so dearly, that they had a particular friendship.” She shared a gaggle photograph of the 2 with Norm Macdonald and Jeffrey Ross.
“As he did with everybody on this photograph. And sending my like to my fantastic good friend Jeff as Gilbert’s loss is past painful for him,” Rizzo wrote. “Pondering of Dara his wonderful & sturdy spouse proper now. A lot love & assist to his household.”
Saget was discovered lifeless in his Florida resort room whereas on the street performing comedy in January. The trigger was later decided to be head trauma.
He was 65.
Gottfried was among the many many shocked by Saget’s demise, telling CNN on the time, “I assumed it was a sick joke” when he heard the information.
Macdonald, who can be seen within the image, died of most cancers in September 2021.
