Brendan Fraser gets emotional after 6-minute standing ovation for ‘The Whale’ at Venice Film Festival

The actor is squarely again in Hollywood and already on the minds of these serious about the Academy Awards, because of his efficiency in “The Whale,” which reportedly obtained a six-minute standing ovation after its screening on the Venice Movie Pageant.

Video shared on social media confirmed Fraser trying teary eyed because the viewers applauded.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the movie focuses on Fraser’s character, Charlie, a reclusive 600-pound man making an attempt to reconnect together with his estranged daughter.

In response to Selection, Fraser donned a prosthetic go well with to play Charlie and he informed reporters on the movie competition over the weekend of the challenges of the position together with having to “learn to transfer in a brand new approach.”

“I developed muscle mass I didn’t know I had,” Fraser stated.
