‘Andor’ trailer explores origins of familiar ‘Star Wars’ heroes
Once we re-meet Andor within the trailer, he has infiltrated the Empire (although it seems the Empire has first invaded his residence planet), even donning a colorless grey Imperial uniform.
“To steal from the Empire, you simply stroll in such as you belong,” Andor says within the trailer. “They can not think about that somebody like me would ever get inside their home.”
There are the requisite appearances of stormtroopers, TIE fighters and different menacing symbols of the Empire. We meet a ruthless officer of the Empire performed by Denise Gough, watch Fiona Shaw’s unknown character shed a tear and catch a glimpse of the lavish lifetime of Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly), who, viewers know, will go on to guide a revolution.
“It is the start of the origins of a revolution,” Luna stated on Monday. “It reminds us what we’re able to — what we’re all able to.”
The primary three episodes of “Andor” begin streaming on September 21 — a number of weeks later than initially deliberate — on Disney+.
