Al Roker missed his first Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 27 years as he recovers from a well being scare.
The famed “Right now” meteorologist lately shared that he had been hospitalized after a blood clot in his leg traveled to his lungs.
“After some medical whack-a-mole, I’m so lucky to be getting terrific medical care and on the best way to restoration,” Roker wrote on his verified Instagram account. “Thanks for all of the properly needs and prayers and hope to see you quickly.”
It saved Roker from his conventional co-hosting of the annual parade alongside together with his “Right now” colleagues Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
NBC meteorologist Dylan Dreyer stuffed in for Roker on the occasion on Thursday and fielded a name from President Joe Biden and first woman Jill Biden, who inquired about how Roker was doing.
Dreyer informed them her colleague is doing “nice.”
