New burger chain coming to Jonesboro
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A long-awaited burger chain is finally coming to Jonesboro.
Coldwell Banker Village Communities announced the first Whataburger in northeast Arkansas will be built in the Southern Hills development area, off Southwest Drive and south of Interstate 555.
Other businesses being built for the Southern Hills area are:

- Shadrachs Coffee
- Southern Branch Crossing

Registration opens for Greatest American Cleanup in Arkansas
LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — Registration is officially open for the Greatest American Cleanup in Arkansas!
This statewide event is where local organizations, communities, and residents of all ages meet to beautify the The Natural State.
From March to May, the mass clean-up effort takes place as the nation observes America’s 250th birthday.
“Caring for our communities is a timeless American tradition,” said McKenzie McMath McCoronel. “As we look ahead to America’s 250th birthday, this cleanup is a chance for Arkansans to celebrate by leaving our state cleaner, healthier and stronger for the next 250 years.”

Registration is free for anyone to sign up, including schools, civic groups, businesses, and non-profits.
Supplies and support equipment will be accessible while quantities last.
