Cam Ward’s final preparations for the 2025 NFL draft will reach its climax today.

The Miami Hurricanes quarterback was a Heisman Trophy finalist and consensus All-American in 2024. Pro days are critical for draft prospects who skip workouts at the combine. Ward is considered to be the top quarterback in this year’s draft and many believe he has a good chance of being the first player off the board next month.

Ward had a terrific season following his transfer to Miami. The quarterback played two seasons with Washington State before joining the Canes this past year. On top of a First-Team All-American nod and finishing fourth in the Heisman voting, he was named ACC Player of the Year and won the Davey O’Brien Award (nation’s top QB) in 2024.

He’s aiming to carry this tremendous momentum into the NFL and plenty of teams are keen to select him when the draft clock starts ticking on April 24.

Miami’s pro day is Ward’s opportunity to display to all 32 teams his talents on the gridiron.

USA TODAY Sports will provide the latest updates, highlights and more from Cam Ward’s pro day workout below. All times are Eastern.

Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra: “Regardless of the scheme is, I always go back to that, it’s just about committing to doing hard things. We were really moving in the zone, taking away airspace and scrambling to challenge shots at the rim. In a lot of these losses in the last month we’ve just been giving up shots at the rim and threes.”
