ESPN's College Gameday Headed to Columbia for South Carolina-LSU
COLUMBIA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – For the first time in 10 years, Columbia will host ESPN’s College GameDay the network announced Saturday night.
The Gamecocks are hosting No. 18 LSU at noon Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The last time South Carolina hosted the flagship college football program was 2014 when the No. 13 Gamecocks lost to Missouri 21-20.
Last season, GameDay opened with the Gamecocks game against North Carolina in Charlotte.
This will be the seventh time a South Carolina game has been featured on GameDay.
ESPN’s show will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday with the Gamecocks kicking off against the Tigers three hours later.
