A 21-year-old man raised crimson flags after refusing to consent to an operation at a hospital in London.

Nigeria’s former deputy Senate president will go on trial in the UK in January for alleged organ harvesting, a decide has mentioned.

Ike Ekweremadu, 60, is accused along with his spouse, Beatrice, 56, their daughter, Sonia, 25, and a health care provider of bringing a person from Nigeria to have a kidney eliminated.

The 21-year-old man is claimed to have raised the alarm after refusing to consent to the operation following preliminary assessments on the Royal Free Hospital in London.

Ekweremadu is a senator for the opposition Peoples Democratic Social gathering for Enugu State in southeast Nigeria.

Ekweremadu and his household had been arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport in June.
