Hawks hire Snyder as coach to replace fired McMillan

ATLANTA (AP) — Quin Snyder has been employed as coach of the Atlanta Hawks to exchange the fired Nate McMillan, the workforce introduced Sunday.

Phrases of the settlement weren’t instantly disclosed. The Hawks fired McMillan on Tuesday, when basic supervisor Landry Fields burdened that Atlanta’s eighth-place standing within the Jap Convention was not acceptable for a workforce that superior to the convention finals in 2021.

Snyder was coach of the Utah Jazz from the 2014-15 to 2021-22 seasons, accumulating a 372-264 report and main the Jazz to the playoffs in six of his eight seasons.

Snyder was an assistant coach with the Hawks in the course of the 2013-14 season on head coach Mike Budenholzer’s workers.

He stated within the workforce’s assertion he’s “thrilled to return to Atlanta.”
