Fact check: Ukrainian protesters were not dragged off a road in Italy

A deceptive video has falsely claimed that Italian residents are angrily assaulting Ukrainian protesters.

The footage reveals a number of folks in yellow vests sitting on a serious highway earlier than being dragged away by irate motorists.

The caption of the submit in Russian claims that Italian residents are “drained” of “silly protest actions by Ukrainians”. The video was shared by a pro-Kremlin Telegram channel and has been considered 1000’s of instances.
