UNC swim and dive defeats Wyoming, 197-103, for second straight win

For the second consecutive season, the College of Northern Colorado swim and dive group beat Wyoming.

UNC practically doubled the Cowgirls’ factors, out-scoring the northern neighbors, 197-103. This was the third time in program historical past that Northern Colorado has overwhelmed Wyoming. It’s now 3-3 since 2017.

The Bears, now 2-0 in duals, received 14-of-16 occasions and went 1-2 in three occasions.

Junior Ali Jackson received the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races. She clocked occasions of 24.40 and 53.22, respectively.

Freshman Claire Timson received the 100 backstroke. She recorded a time of 59.01, 3/10ths of a second quicker than her competitor.

The Bears swept the 400-yard medley relay and 200 free relay, as nicely.

Lastly, freshman Nadine Coulie received the 1-meter dive, scoring a 260.93. Sophomore Madison Berg received the 3-meter dive with a 237.60 and positioned second within the 1 meter. Freshman Hailey Garner completed third within the 3 meter occasion.

The Bears will host Utah Tech at 5 p.m. Friday in hopes of including one other win to its twin meet report. The meet will happen on the Butler Hancock Pool.
