The teams combined for 42 fourth-quarter points, and the Rebels scored last, getting a touchdown with 36 seconds left for a 51-48 victory. Owen Allen ran for 192 yards and two touchdowns, Liam Szarka piled up 136 yards and two scores while adding 175 passing yards and a touchdown, and Cade Harris scored twice on the ground.

Wyoming picked up a 31-19 win at home last September and trails the all-time series 10-9.
