2023 Wyoming Legion Baseball Regional Tournament Scoreboards

Regional tournaments in 2023 are here for three of Wyoming’s American Legion Baseball teams.

Gillette is hosting the Northwest Regional Tournament for ‘AA’ American Legion baseball teams from Wyoming, Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The tournament is Aug. 2-6, 2023, at Hladky Stadium.

Single-A state champion Powell is off to Havre, MT, for the Northwest Class ‘A’ Regional Tournament (NWCART). This tournament will be Aug. 4-8, 2023.

Both tournaments have an eight-team field in a modified, double-elimination bracket.

Wednesday, Aug. 2:

Game 1: Portland (OR) Post 158 Barbers vs. Pocatello (ID) Post 4 Runnin’ Rebels, 9:30 a.m.

Game 2: Eagle River, AK vs. Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO Post 187), 12:30 p.m.

Game 3: Helena (MT) Post 2 Senators vs. Cheyenne Post 6 Sixers, 4 p.m.

Game 4: Bellevue (WA) Lakeside Recovery vs. Gillette Post 42 Riders, 7 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 3:

Game 5: Game 1 loser vs. Game 3 loser, 9:30 a.m. – loser-out

Game 6: Game 2 loser vs. Game 4 loser, 12:30 p.m. – loser-out

Game 7: Game 1 winner vs. Game 3 winner, 4 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 4:

(Note: If 3 teams remain with one loss after Game 13, the winner of Game 11 will automatically be drawn into Game 14)

Sunday, Aug. 6:

Game 14: Regional Championship Game: Game 12 winner vs. Game 13 winner (possibly Game 11 winner), 1:30 p.m.

Game 15 (If necessary): Game 14 winner vs. Game 14 loser (if 1st loss), 4:30 p.m.

The winner advances to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, NC, on Aug. 10-15, 2023.
