Union workers in Oregon and Washington end their strike, ratify deal with Weyerhaeuser

1,200 members of Woodworkers Native 246, a part of the Worldwide Affiliation of Machinists, took to the picket strains on September 13.
Thomas Thede is president of the Native 246 Lodge in Springfield. He instructed KLCC that the final vote with membership was held Thursday evening, ratifying the four-year settlement with Weyerhaeuser.
