WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) – A well-known Motown and R&B band will convey their legendary sound to Japanese Carolina Saturday afternoon.

The Drifters are holding a free live performance on the Washington-Warren Airport, supplied via a partnership between the Metropolis of Washington and the Interior Banks STEM Heart.

Gates for the occasion will open at midday and the Drifters are scheduled to take the stage at 4 p.m. The live performance is predicted to run till 6 p.m.
