Shelter in place canceled for residents near 1600 Washington Ave. in Sauk City

SAUK CITY, Wis. (WMTV) – Sauk County authorities are not asking residents to shelter in place close to the 1600 block of Washington Avenue in Sauk Metropolis.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Workplace despatched out an alert round 9:35 p.m. asking residents close to this space to not go away their houses as a result of “police exercise.”

The sheriff’s workplace despatched out an up to date alert round 10:10 p.m., saying residents not wanted to remain of their houses.

“We respect you taking the time throughout this police exercise state of affairs to remain protected,” the sheriff’s workplace said. “Our residents security is our primary precedence.”

No different particulars in regards to the investigation had been launched.

The sheriff’s workplace and native authorities had been investigating.
