Police searching for driver of car connected to shooting in Washington
WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) – The Washington Police Department is looking for the driver of a vehicle in connection to a shooting on Saturday.
Authorities say at approximately 3:15 am, they responded to the area of the 300 block of west 9th street in reference to a report of gunfire.
Upon further investigation, they located several shell casings and a damaged vehicle.
They say video footage was later obtained showing a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
The victims in this case are uncooperative with the investigation.
