Baker heads to Washington, D.C. for his new book, returns Tuesday night

Simply two days after coming back from an out-of-state journey, Gov. Charlie Baker is on the street once more Tuesday as he heads to Washington, D.C., to advertise his not too long ago revealed guide.

Baker’s workplace stated the governor was heading to the nation’s capital Tuesday afternoon to take part in a dialog with American College President Sylvia Burwell about his guide, “Outcomes: Getting Past Politics to Get Essential Work Executed,” launched in Might.

Baker is predicted to return to Massachusetts on Tuesday evening, his workplace stated.

Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito will likely be in energy whereas Baker is away.

Secretary of State William Galvin, a Democrat, served because the state’s govt over the previous weekend as each Baker and Polito, Republicans, left Massachusetts on the identical time. The governor and First Woman Lauren Baker traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for a private journey (they returned Sunday) and Polito spent the weekend in Maine.
