Alleged leaders of Tepa gang arrested in Washington County
PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Two men and one juvenile were taken into custody last Thursday after four simultaneous search warrants were executed at residences in Washington County.
Alleged leaders of the Tepa gang, Maximiliano Alvarez, 35, and 29-year-old Roberto Cisneros-Vite, both of Beaverton, were apprehended alongside one juvenile, according to the Washington County Community Violence Reduction Team.
Several negotiators, drones, and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit also assisted.
Investigators recovered multiple firearms, ammunition, ammunition-feeding devices, and other evidence of criminal gang activity.
One of the recovered firearms is suspected to be involved in a recent shooting. Three others were reported stolen.
On Tuesday, a Washington County Grand Jury indicted Alvarez and Cisneros-Vite.
Alvarez was indicted for two counts of racketeering, second-degree conspiracy to commit murder, third-degree assault, first-degree attempted robbery, and felon in possession of a firearm.
Cisneros-Vite was indicted for two counts of racketeering, second-degree conspiracy to commit murder, third-degree assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, first-degree attempted robbery, unlawful sale or transfer of a firearm, and furnishing alcohol to persons under 21 years of age.
