SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah State Board of Education has unanimously voted to censure board member Natalie Cline, and with the censure comes an official request for Cline to resign.

Along with the censure, the board will also remove Cline from all standing board committee assignments and prohibit her from attending any future meetings of the Utah Board of Education.

Every member of the 15-member board meeting, except for Cline who was not in attendance, voted in favor of the censure.

Cline did not attend the meeting, after saying online that she disagreed with the process.
