New time capsule placed at Utah State Capitol

SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Spencer Cox changed the time capsule that was first positioned on the Utah State Capitol in 1914 with a brand new one Wednesday.

The brand new time capsule incorporates contents representing the Utah of at present, and which were collected by the Governor’s Workplace, Home of Representatives, Senate, and Capitol Preservation Board.

This time capsule shall be positioned on the cornerstone of the Utah State Capitol for the following 100 years.
