Dog captured after running loose on Utah highway
Dec. 5 (UPI) — A canine noticed wandering free close to a Utah freeway interchange ended up stopping site visitors on the interstate when it fled first responders and entered the roadway.
Salt Lake County Animal Providers mentioned the 6-month-old Merle cattle canine was seen wandering Sunday close to the interchange of 3300 S/Interstate 80/Interstate 215, within the Parleys Canyon space.
Utah Division of Transportation cameras captured video of first responders chasing after the canine till it gave them the slip and went working onto I-80.
The canine’s pursuers stopped site visitors so the canine could possibly be safely captured and brought to the Salt Lake County Animal Providers middle.
Animal providers mentioned the canine was not sporting a collar and isn’t microchipped. She will likely be held for about 5 days earlier than being made out there for adoption.
