Broncos take lead with 16:58 left in first half and don’t relinquish it

Boise, Idaho • Tyson Degenhart’s 19 factors helped Boise State defeat Utah State 82-59 on Saturday evening.

Degenhart had 10 rebounds for the Broncos (12-4, 2-1 Mountain West). Max Rice scored 14 factors and added 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Chibuzo Agbo shot 4 for 9, together with 1 for 3 from past the arc to complete with 11 factors.

The Aggies (13-3, 2-1) have been led in scoring by Taylor Funk, who completed with 14 factors. Sean Bairstow added 10 factors for Utah State. Max Shulga additionally had 9 factors and 6 rebounds.

Boise State took the lead with 16:58 left within the first half and didn’t relinquish it. Degenhart led the Broncos in scoring with 13 factors within the first half to assist put them up 45-30 on the break. Boise State outscored Utah State within the second half by eight factors, with Rice scoring a team-high eight factors after halftime.

Boise State performs UNLV on the highway on Wednesday, and Utah State hosts Wyoming on Tuesday.
