Two Deceased, Multiple Injured After Shooting in South Seattle – SPD Blotter
Detectives are investigating a shooting that left two victims deceased and multiple injured at a South Seattle business Sunday morning.
Shortly before 4:30 a.m., police responded to multiple 911 calls of a shooting at a business in the 2200 block of Rainier Avenue South. Officers arrived and located three gunshot wound victims. Police attempted life-saving measures until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived. Despite all life-saving efforts, two male victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. A third female victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
While officers were on scene, dispatch received multiple reports of gunshots wound victims arriving at Harborview Medical Center. Officers responded to HMC to interview the victims and any witnesses.
Police secured the scene of the shooting until Homicide detectives and members of the Crime Scene Investigation Unit arrived. The Homicide Unit will be leading the investigation.
