Torrens 2nd Mariners player to land on COVID IL

SEATTLE — The Mariners positioned catcher Luis Torrens on the COVID-19 injured checklist on Tuesday.

Torrens is the second Seattle participant to land on the virus checklist in latest days. Outfielder Mitch Haniger was positioned on the COVID-19 checklist on Saturday after he examined constructive.

Torrens was positioned on the checklist with Seattle coming off its first time without work of the season and forward of the primary sport of a collection with Texas. Seattle supervisor Scott Servais mentioned the staff’s replay coordinator and another workers are coping with the virus.
