Three Injured in Early Morning Belltown Shooting  – SPD Blotter

Early Sunday morning, there were several 911 calls reporting shots being fired in the Belltown neighborhood. 

When police arrived just after 2:00 a.m., they observed multiple vehicles and people fleeing from the area. Officers discovered two locations where evidence of a shooting was located. One being near 1st Avenue and Lenora Street and the other in the 100 block of Blanchard Street.  

Officers provided aid to a 26-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds found near 1st Avenue and Lenora Street while waiting for Seattle Fire to arrive. SFD later transported the man to Harborview Medical Center. 

As the investigation continued, it was reported a 33-year-old male and 47-year-old female victims arrived at nearby hospitals with gunshot wounds. All three victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers also found ballistic damage to vehicles in the parking lot within the 100 block of Blanchard Street.

Police do not know yet the circumstances of what led up to the shooting.

Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives will be leading the ongoing investigation.
