Tee Higgins status: Cincinnati Bengals WR to play NFL Week 6 game vs. Seattle, per report

Receiver Tee Higgins, who suffered a fractured rib during a Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans and missed the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 5 win against the Cardinals in Arizona, is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks at Paycor Stadium, according to a report Saturday night from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

The Enquirer’s Kelsey Conway reported Saturday that Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Higgins and defensive back Chidobe Awuzie would be listed as questionable, and would be game-time decisions. Conway added that Taylor said Higgins “got good practice reps.”

The Enquirer’s Charlie Goldsmith wrote Friday that Higgins, upon returning, will have to overcome the mental hurdle of playing through a painful injury.

Higgins, in his fourth NFL season with the Bengals, has 12 catches for 129 yards with two touchdowns in four games.
