Seattle police officer assaulted while recovering stolen car in Eastlake neighborhood; 2 arrested

SEATTLE — A Seattle Police Division officer was assaulted throughout the restoration of a stolen automobile within the Eastlake neighborhood early Sunday, the division introduced.

Based on SPD, the officer discovered a reported stolen automobile within the 2300 block of Franklin Avenue East round 1:30 a.m. Because the officer tried to recuperate the automobile, a person walked out from a close-by condo constructing and began interfering with the tow truck that was driving away with the automobile.
