Seattle police investigating reported carjacking, kidnapping in Yesler Terrace neighborhood

SEATTLE — Police are investigating a reported carjacking and kidnapping in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood on Saturday morning.

In line with the Seattle Police Division, officers responded to the 900 block of East Yesler Means at about 11:30 a.m. after a person reported that his automobile was stolen.

The 24-year-old sufferer advised police that two males held him at gunpoint, then stole his automobile and belongings, together with iPhones, automobile keys and money.

The suspects allegedly then compelled the sufferer into the again of their pink Toyota Carolla and drove to an unknown location.

The sufferer was capable of escape when the automobile was stopped, however he was hit within the head with a gun by one of many suspects who was sitting within the backseat of the automobile with him.

He had a reduce on his head and was supplied medical assist by Seattle Fireplace Division Personnel on the scene.

Police later positioned the sufferer’s automobile and impounded it for additional processing.
