U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will journey to Tokyo and Seattle October 24-27. This will likely be her fourth journey to the Indo-Pacific area since Could and demonstrates america’ continued dedication to the area and our allies Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

The Deputy Secretary and Assistant Secretary for Political-Navy Affairs Jessica Lewis will meet with Boeing executives to debate U.S. competitiveness and the challenges offered by protection manufacturing capability points. The Deputy Secretary and Ambassador at Giant for Our on-line world and Digital Coverage Nate Fick will go to the T-Cellular Tech Expertise 5G Hub and meet with executives to debate U.S. know-how coverage and increasing alternatives for U.S. telecommunications firms. On the College of Washington, Deputy Secretary Sherman and Ambassador Fick will converse with college students in regards to the essential function that know-how and workforce improvement play in addressing the overseas coverage challenges of the twenty first century.
