SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Academics from throughout the state rallied in San Francisco Saturday, in assist of Bay Space educators, many who say they’re underpaid, understaffed and under-appreciated.

Members of the California Federation of Academics have been taking time from their annual convention to assist educators in San Francisco.

“We’re the union, the mighty, mighty union,” they chanted.

“That is about being united for justice, united for schooling. We’re coming collectively for that combat for college students and members,” stated Jeff Freitas, president of the California Federation of Academics.

Some SFUSD and Metropolis Faculty staff say they survived working through the pandemic, inside some school rooms which have been with out warmth however pay stays the most important subject for Leslie Hu.
