South San Francisco motorcycle officer injured in collision

REDWOOD CITY – A motorist ran a cease signal and collided with a South San Francisco police bike officer Tuesday afternoon in Redwood Metropolis, police stated.

The crash was reported at 2:25 p.m. at Fifth Avenue and Bay Street, a four-way cease, in keeping with the South San Francisco Police Division.

The officer was working within the metropolis as a part of the Saturated Site visitors Enforcement Program, a collaboration of regulation enforcement businesses in San Mateo County, police stated.
