Historic homes in San Jose, San Francisco damaged by fire, rain
SAN JOSE, Calif. – Historic houses in San Jose and San Francisco have been broken by hearth and rain, respectively.
In San Jose, investigators are on the lookout for the reason for a hearth at a home on Phelan Avenue that was in-built 1905.
The fireplace division’s arson unit is main the investigation, but it surely’s unclear if the hearth on Sunday began as an accident or it was intentional.
And in San Francisco, the operators of a widely known landmark are blaming the latest storms for the heavy injury which will shut down the historic Trocadero Clubhouse in Stern Grove for good after an enormous eucalyptus got here crashing down on it over the weekend.
