But the 49ers, along with the Baltimore Ravens, have been the best team in the league this season.
Brock Purdy, their unlikely quarterback hero, has produced some big performances, but showed some frailty in the win over the Green Bay Packers last weekend.

Injury report
Deebo Samuel’s condition is still up in the air ahead of this weekend’s game after suffering a shoulder injury.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter appeared on the Pat McAfee Show this afternoon and gave an update.
Schefter said it was “50/50” whether Samuel could play in the NFC Championship.
Schefter added that Samuel’s injury was “problematic” due to how he plays with his upper body.
“To me, he’s compromised if he’s out there,” Schefter added.
