Caught on Video: San Francisco Muni egg attack amid anti-Asian rant

SAN FRANCISCO — A New York-based Asian American author, who was visiting San Francisco, discovered herself among the many victims of an egg throwing assault from a person voicing racist feedback on the 38-Geary Muni bus.

The incident came about final Thursday and Michelle Younger captured it on video,

Younger took to twitter to explain the assault.

“Man w/a number of eggs got here on and beginning yelling to me and the Asian lady subsequent to me “silly Chinese language bitch”. A person on the bus stepped in & the man began throwing eggs at him. Man obtained off bus threw eggs via window. All of us have egg in our hair!!”

SFPD has reached out to her as did the San Francisco Municipal Transit Company.

“That is unacceptable on our autos,” the transit company stated in its response. “We’re sorry this occurred to you. Please file a report with us to forestall incidents like this from taking place. We’ll have employees look into it and examine. Once more, our honest apologies.”

Younger additionally thanked those that had reached out to her and urged different victims to come back ahead.
