University of San Diego students evacuated from campus apartment due to broken water pipe

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A number of College of San Diego college students had been pressured to depart their on-campus house constructing early Tuesday morning after a water pipe broke.

At round 2:30 a.m., residents at Cuyamaca Corridor woke as much as water coming in by way of the ceiling and home windows.

Campus cops helped college students evacuate as firefighters labored to close off the water.

USD officers had been working to find out what number of items had been broken and what number of displaced college students will want housing.

It’s unknown what led to the damaged water pipe.
