Oregon State is the betting favorite in Saturday’s game at San Diego State

Oregon State, coming off a season-opening win over Idaho State, is favored heading into Saturday night’s game at San Diego State.

The Beavers are a 4½-point favorite over SDSU, which opened the season with a 45-14 win over Texas A&M Commerce. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. in Snapdragon Stadium.

Oregon State has won four consecutive games against San Diego State, including last year in Corvallis, where the Beavers won 26-9.

San Diego State starts a true freshman at quarterback in Danny O’Neil. In the win over Texas A&M Commerce, O’Neil completed 23 of 33 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns.

Saturday’s game is the first of five road games for Oregon State this season. Others are Nevada, California, Air Force and Boise State.
