Navy plane crash lands on banks of San Diego Bay

A small jet aircraft veered off a Naval air base and crashed into the rocky banks of the San Diego Bay Saturday afternoon as impacts from Tropical Storm Kay rattled Southern California.

The Navy-contracted aircraft was making an attempt to land at Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado when it slid off the runway round 1:15 p.m., in response to Fox Climate.
